4th Senbazuru

My 4th senbazuru (1000 cranes) since just before I came to Japan. My 3rd finished while in Japan. That's 1000 cranes folded from 75x75mm paper (about 3x3 inches), of various solids and designs. Some of the really nice paper I had to cut in quarters myself because it only comes in a big size.
It takes me about 2-3 months to fold 1000 cranes because I don't focus on it very seriously, just doing it in my free time--watching tv, on the train etc. Then it takes several nights to string them (20 strings of 40 cranes each).
It's a cheap hobby.
When I'm done I can donate them to the local temple.
