Lead me through your picture plane, flat woman, you
Golden aura in blue
Take me up the wave over Fuji and leave me
Tangled in the embrace of shell-borne Aphrodite
Dance, piper, with your snowy horse in circus dots of red
And turn away your face with its one ear. O turn your head
Round woman in cold Russian caves. Chase
Your herds of spotted horses in an unlit place.
Sing for me, smoky woman curled about your
Child, forgotten beneath the screaming bull and horse
And I shall persistently dream of misproportioned stairs--
Fly with me, winged Nike, kill my cares.
